First produced back in 1925, the Speed Square is solid die-cast aluminum - and that means you're getting one of the most consistently accurate tools in production. Use the pivot point to turn your Speed Square into a protractor.
Mark the pivot point on your board, and then move (pivot) the square to the degree of the cut you're looking to make.
Mark the angle and you’re ready to cut. This is especially handy for stair stringers, and the pitch of roof rafters.
