The 2.5-gallon container treats up to 96,000 gallons of water, providing substantial coverage for large water features. The formula works quickly to control multiple algae types, including green water (Chlorella), string and hair algae (Cladophora), and blanket weed algae (Oedogonium). The EPA-registered, copper-free formulation is safe for fish, aquatic plants, surrounding wildlife, and pets when used as directed, and it does not disrupt beneficial bacteria or accumulate in pond sediment. For optimal results, ensure vigorous aeration in the pond or fountain before application. Mix the solution thoroughly and disperse it evenly throughout the water. Repeat the treatment every 3 days until algae is controlled, then apply weekly to maintain clear water and reduce ongoing maintenance requirements.
