Typical materials for drilling with Bosch black oxide bits include stainless steel, wood and PVC. The line’s expansive selection includes jobber length, stubby length, extended length (aircraft) and 1/2" reduced shank (Silver and Deming).
Titanium
The Bosch line of titanium drill bits offers a speed helix design for greater drilling speed and reduced heat for up to 2x life versus high-speed steel bits. A split point offers easy starts. Bosch titanium bits are surface hardened to penetrate tough materials without skating.
