The Pentair Pentek EPM-10 is an economical carbon block cartridge built for reliable chlorine taste, odor, and sediment reduction in residential and RV water systems. Using bonded Powdered Activated Carbon (PAC) technology with a 10 micron nominal rating, this filter delivers over 3,000 gallons of capacity at 1 gpm while maintaining a low 0.4 psi pressure drop.

What sets the EPM Series apart is its high porosity design. Standard carbon blocks often plug with sediment before their adsorption capability is fully used. The EPM-10 solves this with a porous carbon structure combined with a protective outer wrap that intercepts sediment before it reaches the carbon media, extending effective filter life.

This cartridge fits all standard and slim line 10-inch filter housings, making it a direct drop-in replacement. Constructed with polypropylene endcaps, polyethylene netting, and Buna-N gaskets, it handles water temperatures from 40 to 180 degrees F. NSF/ANSI Standard 42 certified for material requirements. Replace every 3 months or when flow rate or water quality declines.
